Create your account and add a child
You need an email address you can open and a password of at least 10 characters. If someone invited you, open their invitation and use the address it was sent to.
Verify your email
Open Create account, enter your email and choose Send email link. An invitation may take you directly to this step with its address filled in. Open the message and follow its link. If it is missing, check spam and confirm the address before requesting another link; a newer link replaces the previous one.

Finish creating your account
The link opens Finish creating your account. Add your name if you like, choose a password and confirm it. Then confirm you are an adult, accept the linked Terms of service and acknowledge the Privacy policy, and choose Create account. Creating an account also creates your household, and you become its owner; an invitation adds you to that household instead. Sign in to continue.
Add your child
Enter the baby's name and date of birth, then choose Add a baby. Use the name your caregivers will recognize; you can change it later.

Expected result: the Log screen shows your child and the care categories you can log.

If something goes wrong
- A link can expire or already have been used. Return to the account screen and request a fresh one.
- An invitation addressed to someone else cannot be accepted with your email. Ask a household parent for a new invitation.
Next: Record feeding, sleep and diapers.
Protect your sign-in
Open Settings → Sign-in & security to change your password, add a passkey, or set up an authenticator app. On a native phone app, this setting opens the verified browser account flow.
- Authenticator: verify your current password, scan the QR code or enter the setup key in your authenticator, and confirm a six-digit code. Save the ten recovery codes before choosing I saved my codes. Each code works once and cannot be displayed again.
- Passkey: choose a name, verify your account, and approve your device’s screen-lock prompt. A verified passkey can sign you in directly; password sign-in still requires your authenticator when it is enabled. You can rename or remove passkeys here.
- Password: Change password sends you through the existing email reset flow. Resetting your password keeps your authenticator and passkeys enabled.
Changing sign-in security signs out other sessions and paired devices. Keep recovery codes somewhere private. Generating a new set replaces all previous codes. Use an existing passkey or a saved recovery code if your authenticator is unavailable.
Pair a phone or watch
On the device, choose web pairing to display a code. In the web app, open Settings → Connected devices → Pair device, enter the code, and approve the named device. The same page accepts phone and watch codes. Return to the device and select your household and baby. On Android, passkey sign-in opens the system credential picker and web pairing opens a browser tab. A passkey needs no additional authenticator code. For password sign-in with an authenticator enabled, use web pairing.
